For companies that have signed an interruptibility contract with GRTN, verification of the opening times of the circuit breakers involved in the disconnection of higher power loads is of essential importance. In fact, one of the essential prerogatives for the applicability of this contract is the ability to interrupt the energy within the maximum time of 200 msec defined by the GRTN. A breaker that is not subject to periodic maintenance could cause this limit to be exceeded or even not cut off the power at all, resulting in penalties from the contract subscriber.
