Verification of Protection Systems

We offer Specialized Technical Service at the panel builder’s workshop and/or directly at the plant, for all those activities necessary to verify the proper functioning of the protection system during commissioning or during periodic maintenance.

With our test equipment, also called “relay test boxes,” we are able to carry out the following activities:

  • Commissioning on all types of protection systems
  • Primary and Secondary Distribution Lines
  • Power transformers
  • Generators
  • Engines

Verification activities may include:

Verification of wiring (to measurement transformers, switchgear control circuits, signaling circuits, of pilot wire connections for logic selectivity)

Adjustment of protective relays to coordination study calibrations

Function verification of protective relays by injection of electrical quantities

Interventions for any anomalies or disruptions in service

ADAPTATIONS STANDARD CEI 0-16 – CEI -21 – ANNEX TERNA A70

Verification of S.P.I. (Interface Protection System) and S.P.G. (General Protection System) in accordance with CEI-0.16, CEI-0.21, Terna Annex A70, AEEG Resolutions 84/2012/R/EEL and 243/2013/R/EEL.

The on-site activities concern replacement and related tests on interfaces installed in MV or LV, with automatic and via software release of Test Report as required in the “Declaration of Conformity pursuant to Art.4.2.c of AEEG Resolution 84/2012/R/EEL and information about the functionality and adjustments of protections” to be sent signed to Enel Distribuzione.
