Field verifications on overland cables suitable for the transport of medium-voltage electrical energy by using HV TEST 80 KV rigidimeter for live tests according to the standards in force CEI 11-17. The use of the high-voltage DC generator enables field verifications of the dielectric strength of cables, electrical systems and parts of systems such as:

• Testing of new cables after laying;
• Evidence of de-energized cables;
• Periodic testing of cables;
• Testing of electrical power components;
• Application of splices on cable line sections.
